[On Christmas day Tim stops by to drop off a couple gifts at Martin and Jon's home. He stops by around 2pm, but doesn't come inside. Instead choosing to leave his gifts in the letterbox for them to find later.
Inside the one marked for Martin is a pair of very fancy tea cups a fun tea infuser, a selection of teas to try (the ones with aphrodisiacs effects clearly marked) and a card. The card reads:]
Merry Christmas,
I hope you have a great holiday and happy new year! Take care of yourself and relax together with Jon. Only drink the teas with a red label if you want a wild night together with Jon. The rest should be safe.
[Tim looks like a mess when he opens the door for Martin. His hair clearly hasn't seen a comb, his shirt is half tucked and wrinkled, beard clearly hasn't been trimmed for the day, and that's nothing to say for the worried bags under his eyes or the way they probably appear slightly swollen and red. More than that he just looks defeated. Sasha sleeps on and there was nothing he could do.]
Hey, come on in. Make yourself at home. [He waves Martin in and towards their lounge where there is a comfortable looking sofa and a coffee table.] Unless... would you like to see her? She's just sleeping right now.
[A parcel arrives for Martin that likely gives itself away readily enough with it's rectangular shape. Inside is a book along with a very nice fountain pen and a note.]
I understand there was some sort of gift-giving occasion recently I have very little context for, but if you would like to attribute this to the event, that would be acceptable. I hope you fill each page with every thought and moment of creativity that strikes you.

P.S. Please let me know if the 'pen' is to your liking, I am more familiar with quill and ink, but I am assured this is what has replaced such things.
Martin will send a note back, one some nice paper and written with the gifted pen. Along with it is a package in return which is filled with some of Martin's favourite teas, and a selection of cakes a biscuits from the tea shop Martin likes.]
Thank you so much for the gift! It's wonderful. The pen is wonderful! It's really smooth to write with.
I hope you enjoy the tea and cakes. They're some of my favourites and they're lovely to sit and drink while trying to do writing or research.
Please let me know if you do want context for some of the holidays! I don't know everything about the ones here but we have something similar (but less sexual) at home.
Sure. I have a beer in the fridge. [If he had been alone he might have gone for tea. To keep his head clear and wits about him, but Martin was here now. Now he felt like he could have a beer and let Martin do the thinking for a little bit.] I have tea if you want to make yourself a cup.
